With 60,000 square meters of exhibition space, over 22,000 square meters of hall space and more than 600 exhibitors, the adjacent East Bavaria Show is probably the largest shopping center in the Free State, at least from August 9th to 17th, 2025. The "XXL shopping paradise" comprises 16 halls - including the Joseph von Fraunhofer Hall with exhibition hall - as well as a spacious outdoor area with quiet areas, builders, hobby gardeners, farmers, housewives or lovers of culinary specialties - everyone gets their money's worth here. The approximately 400,000 visitors expected can stroll and shop as often and as long as they like, free of charge and without admission tickets. The spectrum of the 24 product groups is wide: from a fine cashmere scarf to a mega tractor costing 250,000 euros. One of the particular strengths of the East Bavaria Show is that consumers value the personal conversation with the salesperson, especially in times of online shopping. Integrated into the gigantic offering of the East Bavaria Show, which only lasts for nine days and developed in the 1950s from the then “trade show”, are information stands and special shows where visitors can find inspiration and entertainment.
